Ocean

deep blues and violet drift

EverBox.Space dashboard in the Ocean theme — deep blues and violet drift

The aesthetic

Water is the obvious metaphor for waiting, and it earns the cliché: nothing about the sea is in a hurry, and none of it stops. The five rings step from a deep harbour blue at the year through to a pale shallow-water cyan at the fastest ring, so the clock reads as depth — the slowest thing furthest down, the quickest thing nearest the surface where the light is.

The background falls from a deep slate blue to something close to black without ever quite arriving, with violet and cyan bloom drifting across it. It is the one theme that uses two accent hues rather than one, and that drift is the reason Ocean feels like weather rather than a colour scheme.

What stays calm

Glass cards keep their neutral white translucency, so the blue lives in the background and never in the surfaces. Type is unchanged — same faces, same weights, same restraint. The rings carry all the colour and everything else gets out of their way.

Who it's for

For the first visit, and for anyone who never wants to think about themes again. Ocean is the free theme deliberately: it is not a stripped-back version of the paid ones, it is the reference implementation of what a calm dashboard looks like. Choose it when you want the countdowns to be the thing you notice, and the surface they sit on to be quiet enough that you forget you chose anything.

Ocean EverBox theme

A deep cyan-blue EverBox palette for countdowns, timers, and shared spaces. One hue across every ring, a near-black ground that keeps its blue, slate-blue panels, and violet and cyan drifting through the background.

Deep blue colour palette

Five steps out of deep water: the year a dark ocean blue, the month a cleaner sea blue, the day a bright cyan, the hour a lighter sky-water, and the fastest ring a pale foam blue. Beneath them, a blue-black ground and deep slate panels. The accent is the bright cyan from the middle of the ramp.

25 themes

Every EverBox theme is a dark colour scheme for the same calm dashboard — countdowns, timers, notes and a quiet ambient clock. Pick one and it applies everywhere; the layout never changes, only the colour.
