Skyfall

night blue, cold neon, one orange muzzle flash

EverBox.Space dashboard in the Skyfall theme — night blue, cold neon, one orange muzzle flash

The aesthetic

The best-looking stretch of that film is almost monochrome: a man in a dark suit against a wall of blue glass, with neon signage sliding past behind him. The dials take that blue and climb through it, deep to bright, the way the building lights do.

Cyan is the neon and it does the work on the controls. Orange appears once, in the background bloom - the only warm thing in a very cold image, and kept small enough that you notice it rather than see it.

What stays calm

Blue is the easiest colour to overuse and the hardest to make feel expensive. It works here because the range is tight and the saturation is held back everywhere except the neon. Glass stays neutral, type is untouched, nothing pulses.

Who it is for

For work that wants to feel deliberate. For a dashboard that should look composed rather than friendly. And for anyone who likes the idea that the countdown is running whether or not you are watching it.

Skyfall EverBox theme

An EverBox palette for countdowns, timers and shared spaces. Every dial sits in the same night blue, on a ground close to black. The controls are cold neon cyan — a sign across water, seen from a car.

Colour palette

Four dials climbing through blue: the year a deep midnight navy, the month an ink blue, the day a strong cobalt, and the hour a lighter periwinkle where the light finally reaches. Behind them a near-black with blue held in it, panels the blue-black of a harbour at three in the morning. The controls take a bright cyan — the one neon in the frame.
